Lili Mendoza, fornicator of minds and perception, is also a writer of fiction. Her short stories and non-fiction have been published in literary reviews and international anthologies. Her raw, direct prose paints a rebellious and bittersweet portrait of contemporary humanity. Mendoza's work centers on her country's negritud and the stories of the dispossessed; her stories samples the sounds and voices of Panama's ghetto and its people.
